November 1st, 2009 EMERGENCY BLANKET in the finals of independent band contest THE PEOPLES MUSIC AWARDS 2009 (London) Having passed in first place from the ten bands from thousands in the first round thanks to the people’s votes as well as in the second round being one of the five bands selected by an elite group of judges such as Mick Glossop (Van Morrison, Frak Zappa, etc.) and Tony Platt (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Bob Marly, etc.), Emergency Blanket find themselfs in the two finalists who will be attending the ceremony held in London in March of 2010 where the winner will be pronounced. Votes are still running until the 27th of November so if you haven’t voted don’t think twice and support EMERGENCY BLANKET so they can be the winners of the Rock/Metal/Punk/Indie category!

October 27th, 2009 EMERGENCY BLANKET, openiing act for FAITH NO MORE in Lima, Peru It was a day long awaited for by thousands of Faith No More fans in Lima. With EMERGENCY BLANKET opening the show for the legendary band who where visiting Lima for the first time, it was a night to remember. Displaying great strength and quality FAITH NO MORE abandoned the scene after a show that left an exited and overwhelmed audience who sung and jumped from the first song to the last, more than satisfied. What a night!
